Aunt Marian’s apple and peach trees are blooming and buzzing. Our daffodils are finished but Aunt Marian’s are in full bloom. The bees are on a number of annual weeds and in the maple trees. The season started so early that it won’t be long before the alfalfa starts blooming and there’s no way we can cut hay this far from June.
If we get a freeze in April we’re going to be in trouble…but it might help knock the bug population back.
